Tuscaloosa, Alabama - July 2006

Where I worked

Where I stayed

I saw lots of these flowering trees around town.

University of Alabama

The president's mansion is near
the place where George Wallace
opposed integration.

The sorority and fraternity houses look
like Southern mansions.  Most of the
other buildings are red brick also.

The tower is called the Denny Chimes.
(I didn't hear them play!)

These flowers were at the base of the chimes.

The concrete at the base had the names of football captains!
